Notting Hill

Originally built in the 1950s as a small Richard Seifert-designed factory on a mews in Notting Hill, this building was adapted in the 2000s by designer Ross Lovegrove and served as his HQ until we were approached to convert it into a home by its current owners. Key elements were retained, such as Lovegrove’s sculptural DNA spiral staircase, and elements of the core palette of his build extended into our own scheme.

We set out to create interiors that blended warmth and luxuriousness with clean, high-tech details, referring where possible to the building’s age and original purpose. Aside from period antique pieces the furniture is largely bespoke to the project, and large-scale cabinetry in a variety of finishes was used to create functional volumes and divisions throughout.
